Annie Finch is the author of seven volumes of poetry, including Calendars and Eve (Story Line, 1997), both finalists for the National Poetry Series, and Spells: New and Selected Poems (Wesleyan University Press), as well as books, essays and plays about poetry, feminism, and spirituality. Her poems have appeared onstage at Carnegie Hall and in The Penguin Book of Twentieth-Century American Poetry. Based in New York City, she travels the world to teach and perform. Sophia Renda is the Associate Poetry Witch working alongside Annie Finch to spread goddess magic far and wide. She handles administrative duties, communications, and design tasks. Sophia is part of the Brooklyn Poets staff, focusing on youth programming. In her personal poetry, she enjoys thinking about the ways nature and language intersect and coexist.
Jade Mapp
Jade is a poet, painter, gardener and writer. She graduated with her Creative Writing MFA from Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, and creates stories to motivate others to find their voice. The Eve On is a passion project dedicated to her late grandmother, and her way to connect to communities through nature, music and writing. Jade can be found in her local greenhouse making herbal medicine while listening to heavy metal and hanging out with her cats.
